World Polio Day 2024 – Polio Thumb Match

The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes October 24 as World Polio Day. Polio eradication continues to be Rotary’s top humanitarian initiative. On October 24 each year, Rotarians promote polio eradication by hosting initiatives to raise awareness about polio and share updates regarding Rotary International’s 35+ year journey to end polio. This year the Rotary Club of South Ocean (RCSO) intends to raise awareness by hosting a thumb match during a fellowship meeting planned for Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 6:30pm. The fellowship meeting is scheduled to last approximately one (1) hour.
