RCEN WEEKLY MEETING Feb 3rd 2023

Kindly register upon receipt.   We kick off Peace & Conflict Prevention / Resolution Month with a hot off the press topic from the news! Come to the meeting this week to see real time healthy debate on an issue impacting Bahamians.  The Department of Inland Revenue (DIR) has advised the Bahamas Insurance Association (BIA) that they intend to increase the VAT burden on medical, dental and vision insurance  policies, effective April 2023. The BIA has begun a number of initiatives geared at educating the public as to the impact that this change will have on them and welcomes the opportunity to share the BIA’s views with our members!  We will also be inducting three new members!
