DESCRIPTION:Support Support Support! The event is organized by The Kiwanis Club of Cable Beach as its 38th Annual Antique Auto Show & Cook-Out. We love collaborating with other non-profit organizations in The Bahamas. This event is also supported by The Antique Auto Club of The Bahamas (of which PP and PAG Murray Forde is a Founding Member). Dinners from the Cook-Out are only $15.00. Tickets are available from PP and PAG Murray Forde  and Don Aranha\, Past President\,Kiwanis Club and Lead Organizer.   The Auto Show is also an important part of Community Service as all funds raised will be Donated to Two Bahamian  organizations; All Saints Camp and BTVI Scholarship Fund. SUMMARY:Adelaide Primary Smart School Tranformation
DESCRIPTION:Dear Fellow Rotarians\, I am excited to share with you a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact at Adelaide Primary School. As part of our continued partnership with the school\, we will be undertaking a series of enhancement projects throughout the 2024-2025 school year with the first to be held on Saturday 31st August 2024 beginning at 7:00am. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help bring these projects to life and enrich the learning environment for both students and teachers. Project Overview: When: 7:00am – 3:00pm What: Smart TV Installation: Facilitate the installation of smart TVs in classrooms. Campus Beautification: Plant kid-friendly greenery and install a Peace Pole to create a serene and inspiring environment. Basketball Hoop Installation: Set up basketball hoops to encourage physical activity and teamwork. Hopscotch Court Painting: Add a playful hopscotch court to promote active play. Pavilion Sign Installation: Install a sign for the pavilion to enhance the school’s identity. RCOF-Branded Garbage Bin Maintenance: Maintain and update our branded bins for a cleaner campus. Outdoor Fans Installation: Install fans to improve comfort during outdoor activities. Teacher Professional Development Seminar: Presenatation and workshop   How You Can Help: We are looking for volunteers to assist with each of these projects. Whether you have experience in any of these areas or just a willingness to help\, your involvement will be invaluable. SUMMARY:RCEN Fox Hill Run (Feeding Program)
DESCRIPTION:Since 1975\, the Rotary Club of East Nassau has upheld its commitment to community service through the enduring ‘Fox Hill Run’ feeding program. Currently\, we extend vital assistance each month to seven families\, supplying a variety of necessities including dry and canned goods\, fresh produce\, toiletries\, and cleaning supplies. It is held on the last Saturday monthly from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  (subject to change re. weather or special occasions) Please join us on the ‘Run’ and register soonest to fill one of the 15 spaces available each month.  Meet up spot: Blairwood Academy parking lot (Village Road – opposite National Trust) @ 7:00 a.m. sharp.
