This home provides a sanctuary for our beloved senior citizens\, and we have the opportunity to brighten their day with a nutritious lunch and warm fellowship. As we transition from Thanksgiving into the Christmas season\, let’s remind these precious gems in our community that they are cherished and loved. From our annual donation on November 1st to our dedicated volunteering efforts outside Kelly’s at The Mall from November 22nd to 27th\, we’ve demonstrated the power of service above self.   Now\, it’s time to celebrate the culmination of these efforts at this exciting event—a cherished tradition that officially kicks off the Christmas season. This ceremony is a heartfelt opportunity to honor and celebrate cancer survivors\, support those still in the fight\, and uplift the many children impacted by cancer.   Our very own 3rd VP\, Valentino Bethell\, will serve as emcee for the evening!  Let’s come out in full force to support the Cancer Society of The Bahamas and the invaluable work they do.

SUMMARY:Let's Make a Difference ~ Thanksgiving Feed 25\,000
DESCRIPTION:Rotary Club of East Nassau (RCEN) is excited to partner with Bahamas Striping Group of Companies (BSGC) in their ‘Let’s Make a Difference’ initiative\, an ambitious project aiming to feed 25\,000 people across The Bahamas this Thanksgiving. As part of this initiative\, RCEN has committed to assisting in the preparation of 2\,000 meals at three Nassau locations on Thursday\, November 28th\, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.   Our club’s involvement with BSGC began after their leaders\, Atario Mitchell and Dominic Sturrup\, shared their inspiring vision with us during their visit on October 18th. Recognizing our shared dedication to “Service Above Self” RCEN is proud to help bring hope\, comfort and nourishment to those in need in our community this holiday season.   Members are invited to sign up and volunteer at any of the following locations: Doris Johnson School\, Prince Charles Drive Queen’s College\, Village Road Aquinas College\, Gladstone Road  Join us in spreading The Magic of Rotary!    Sign up now and be part of this meaningful day!
