DESCRIPTION:Rotary Club of East Nassau (RCEN) is excited to partner with Bahamas Striping Group of Companies (BSGC) in their ‘Let’s Make a Difference’ initiative\, an ambitious project aiming to feed 25\,000 people across The Bahamas this Thanksgiving. As part of this initiative\, RCEN has committed to assisting in the preparation of 2\,000 meals at three Nassau locations on Thursday\, November 28th\, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.   Our club’s involvement with BSGC began after their leaders\, Atario Mitchell and Dominic Sturrup\, shared their inspiring vision with us during their visit on October 18th. From our annual donation on November 1st to our dedicated volunteering efforts outside Kelly’s at The Mall from November 22nd to 27th\, we’ve demonstrated the power of service above self.   Now\, it’s time to celebrate the culmination of these efforts at this exciting event—a cherished tradition that officially kicks off the Christmas season. This ceremony is a heartfelt opportunity to honor and celebrate cancer survivors\, support those still in the fight\, and uplift the many children impacted by cancer.   Our very own 3rd VP\, Valentino Bethell\, will serve as emcee for the evening!  Let’s come out in full force to support the Cancer Society of The Bahamas and the invaluable work they do.

DESCRIPTION:Since 1975\, the Rotary Club of East Nassau has upheld its commitment to community service through the enduring ‘Fox Hill Run’ feeding program. Currently\, we extend vital assistance each month to seven families\, supplying a variety of necessities including dry and canned goods\, fresh produce\, toiletries\, and cleaning supplies. It is held on the last Saturday monthly from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  (subject to change re. weather or special occasions) Please join us on the ‘Run’ and register soonest to fill one of the 15 spaces available each month.  Meet up spot: Blairwood Academy parking lot (Village Road – opposite National Trust) @ 7:00 a.m. sharp. The Journey:  1) Bag packing @ RCEN Storage Unit (Store-It-All\, Soldier Road)  2) Deliveries in the Fox Hill Community  3) Back to our cars @ Blairwood.  The Afterparty: Fellowship & breakfast at Starbucks Harbor Bay @ 9:30 a.m.   We look forward to your support.  Yours In Rotary Service\,   Adrian Forsythe Chair – Fox Hill Run Rotary Club of East Nassau
