Holiday Outreach ~ All Saints Camp

Dear Rotarians, The Rotary Club of East Nassau and Rotaract Club of East Nassau are joining efforts for an outreach project this coming Saturday December 10th, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the All Saint Camp.  This exciting project has multiple layers as we will be donating 1) Food items to fill their pantry, 2) Adult and Children Books to fill their Library, 3) Gently used clothes and shoes for all residents, 4) Toys for the children, and 5) Beautifying the premises by painting a building.  We have our work cut out for us, and we need your support. For your information, the All Saints Camp is a nonprofit organization that provides a refuge for persons living with HIV and AIDS.  The facility is privately run by dedicated volunteers, and currently houses forty (40) adults and thirty-seven (37) children.  It relies on the generous donations from organizations like Rotary and others. Since October Rotarians have been placing donations in the “Give Life & Give Love” box at our weekly meetings.  We have received thus far; cash, nonperishable food items, toys, and gently used clothes and shoes.  This coming Friday is your last chance to give, as everything received will be donated on Saturday to the All Saints Camp in addition to the other provisions being donated by RCEN. Rotaract will be leading the charge with the beautification part of the project.  They are excited and ready to paint!
