DESCRIPTION:BAPD is having a Push-a-thon on Saturday\, March 11\, 2023. Please volunteer to push one of the children from BAPD or just join in for a fun walk. There will be a junkanoo band on the walk which will be entertaining for the kids and tourists. This is not only a fundraiser for BAPD\, but also a great way to interact with the kids. Our guest speaker is Bob Coughlin\, Founder of Paycor ( a world known provider of cloud-based HR\, payroll\, onboarding and timekeeping software).  Bob is aslo a second-home owner who lives in Exuma and is a co-founder of “Friends of Exuma.” His organization has raised roughly $500\,000 to preserve the waters of Exuma and help support Exumians in need.  From fundraisers\, Friends of Exuma were able to purchase a new school bus for LN Coakley High School last year\, and they recently raised $165\,000 in another fundraiser “Tour de Tourquoise”. DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to the Rotaract Club of East Nassau’s 15th Anniversary Celebration! This is the club’s first ever anniversary fundraiser party. The event will pay homage to the club’s history by rewinding the clocks back to the decade when the club was founded: Back to Da 2000s. All proceeds from the event will go towards the club’s community service initiatives.  There will be alcohol specials\, a cigar table\, photo booth\, a junkanoo rushout\, prizes and surprises. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

SUMMARY:Cleanup at Rotarian Ken Lam's House
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Rotary Club of West Nassau to help a fellow Rotarian in need. This Saturday starting at 8 am we will be doing a cleanup at Rotarian Ken Lam’s home\, in an effort to assist his wife Cheryl while she is going through this difficult time.  PP William Wong has secured a dumpster for us to use\, and is in contact with Ken’s son to coordinate the effort.  The work will largely consist of us clearing the yard of weeds and debris\, as well as whatever heavy tasks Cheryl needs taken care of. Ken Lam was a past president of West\, an architect\, and very quiet\, gentle\, kind but hard working Rotarian. He\, his wife and daughter who was visiting from Canada\, were in a car accident in December and so his wife is recovering from that in midst of this.  They will have chicken souse available for volunteers. Please attend so that we can have show our support as East Nassau.
