SUMMARY:FOX HILL RUN (Feeding Program)
DESCRIPTION:Since 1975\, the Rotary Club of East Nassau has upheld its commitment to community service through the enduring ‘Fox Hill Run’ feeding program. Currently\, we extend vital assistance each month to seven families\, supplying a variety of necessities including dry and canned goods\, fresh produce\, toiletries\, and cleaning supplies. It is held on the last Saturday monthly from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  (subject to change re. weather or special occasions) Please join us on the ‘Run’ and register soonest to fill one of the 15 spaces available each month.  Meet up spot: Blairwood Academy parking lot (Village Road – opposite National Trust) @ 7:00 a.m. sharp. The Journey:  1) Bag packing @ RCEN Storage Unit (Store-It-All\, Soldier Road)  2) Deliveries in the Fox Hill Community  3) Back to our cars @ Blairwood.  The Afterparty: Fellowship & breakfast at Starbucks Harbor Bay @ 9:30 a.m.   We look forward to your support.  Yours In Rotary Service\,   Adrian Forsythe Chair – Fox Hill Run Rotary Club of East Nassau

SUMMARY:RCEN's Lunch and Fellowship with Senior Citizens
DESCRIPTION:The season of gratitude and giving is upon us\, and there’s no better way to embody The Magic of Rotary than by sharing our time and care with those who need it most. Our Community Service Committee has organized a heartfelt outreach event at Demetrius Home and Care Center this Saturday\, November 30th\, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This home provides a sanctuary for our beloved senior citizens\, and we have the opportunity to brighten their day with a nutritious lunch and warm fellowship. As we transition from Thanksgiving into the Christmas season\, let’s remind these precious gems in our community that they are cherished and loved. Apologies for the short notice\, and we truly hope many of you will join us.
