DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of East Nassau is partnering with Lend a Hand Bahamas and 60 naval officers from the Royal British Navy to build hurricane shutters for 5 homes of Elderly residents in the Bain Town community. We need all hands on deck to help where needed\, to either help assemble shutters\, paint shutters\, read to some of the area kids and help with cleanup. Bring your tools\, gloves\, saftey googles and gear and let’s show them the power of Rotarians in action. Parking is on East Street across the street from Central Food Fair south side before you turn onto Lewis Street. A photo of the lot is attached. DESCRIPTION:Dear Rotarians\, The Rotary Club of East Nassau is joining forces with all Rotary Clubs of The Bahamas for a joint-club initiative this coming Saturday\, September 30th at the Bahamas National Trust (BNT)\, Village Road. The initiative is to clean up and plant trees as a precursor for the international event to be conducted in late October during the Zone 33-34 Action Summit.  RCOB and the BNT are expecting over 100 Rotarians to be out on Saturday\, and we surely want East Nassau to represent a great amount of participants. Come ready for some manual labor\, and bring any relevant tools or gear that you own and believe can assist.  Yours In Rotary!
