SUMMARY:FOX HILL RUN (Feeding Program)
DESCRIPTION:Since 1975\, the Rotary Club of East Nassau has upheld its commitment to community service through the enduring ‘Fox Hill Run’ feeding program. Currently\, we extend vital assistance each month to seven families\, supplying a variety of necessities including dry and canned goods\, fresh produce\, toiletries\, and cleaning supplies. It is held on the last Saturday monthly from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  (subject to change re. weather or special occasions) Please join us on the ‘Run’ and register soonest to fill one of the 15 spaces available each month.  Meet up spot: Blairwood Academy parking lot (Village Road – opposite National Trust) @ 7:00 a.m. sharp. SUMMARY:Hands for Hunger Pantry Restock
DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of South Ocean s supporting Hands for Hunger (H4H) through a donation of food items to their pantry\, located on Carmichaeel Road. Rotarians will stock the food items in the pantry on Saturday May 16\, 10:00am – 11:30am.  We will be supporting families in need while combatting food insecurity. The H4H Pantry is a client choice opportunity that allows people to choose items from our inventory that can best serve their famlies.  The fosters a sense of autonomy within clients and also reduces waste asoociated with giving people items that they do not need or want. The H4H Pantry is the next step in our evolution toward a hunger-free Bahamas\, where everyone has access to three healthy and fortifying meals each day. SUMMARY:RCEN's Project Read Meeting
DESCRIPTION:As we prepare for the Rotary Year 2026–2027\, RCEN’s Project Read initiative will be hosting an important meeting focused on reorganizing\, reigniting\, and strengthening the program for the future.   This meeting marks the first major re-engagement effort for Project Read in quite some time\, and we are seeking dedicated Rotarians who are willing to support the initiative and serve on a new Board as we work to take Project Read to the next level.   Many of you are aware that Project Read has continued under the committed leadership of Rotarian Gary Sweeting\, who has done a tremendous job carrying the initiative forward\, often with very limited support. We are sincerely grateful for his dedication and service. However\, Project Read now needs additional committed volunteers to help carry the load and expand its impact within our community.   This meeting will provide members with an opportunity to learn more about: The current operations of Project Read Its impact and existing clients Its structure and finances Opportunities for growth and leadership involvement  We also encourage members to attend with an open mind\, receive the information shared\, and return to a follow-up meeting in a few weeks with innovative ideas and recommendations for the way forward.   We look forward to your support\, participation and leadership as we work together to strengthen this important initiative and further Rotary’s commitment to literacy and education within our community.   Yours in Rotary Service
