DESCRIPTION:Dear Rotarian\, We will be sponsoring eight students and teachers to attend the Princess Court Mentoring Program this Saturday and every Saturday until 26th October\, 2024 at Albury Sayle Primary School\, Nassau Street\, from 3:30 PM- 5 PM. The program is run by Rotarian and Member Stephanie Frith\, President and Executive Director of the initiative.  It is an eight-week interactive session for young girls ages 5 to 18. DESCRIPTION:The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes October 24 as World Polio Day. Polio eradication continues to be Rotary’s top humanitarian initiative. On October 24 each year\, Rotarians promote polio eradication by hosting initiatives to raise awareness about polio and share updates regarding Rotary International’s 35+ year journey to end polio.  This year the Rotary Club of South Ocean (RCSO) intends to raise awareness by hosting a thumb match during a fellowship meeting planned for Thursday\, October 24\, 2024 at 6:30pm. The fellowship meeting is scheduled to last approximately one (1) hour.
